"Use the right tool for the job"

HdAcoustics does not sell any retail product but does fully embrace the great products by many of the commercial acoustical manufacturer's such as (in alphabetical order): AcousDecor, Acoustical Surfaces, Auralex, GIK Acoustics, Kinetics Noise, Primacoustics, RPG Inc, Rose Brand Fabrics, SoundIsolationCompany.com, SoundProofWindows.com & UltraTouch Insulation

Sometimes, however, the right approach circles back to our business name: Designed Acoustics.  Internal room acoustic design boils down to combining appropriate bass trapping with the strategic control of room reflections.  Through this filter (or problem solving method) HdAcoustics has created very effective custom tools.   These range from custom designed DIY panels, to computer guided/precision-cut wood features.  One area that is of great interest is the combination of wood and absorption.  Many effective and appealing devices appear in HdAcoustics spaces that, in combination, address the entire frequency range.

Product Design History:
Starting with the modification of Fender Precision basses, HdA's Jeff Hedback is afflicted with a chronic quest for great tone!  In the early 90's, Jeff Hedback worked closely with Uncle Albert's Tube Amp Repair to develop a highly regarded tube di (before others fashionably brought such devices to market).  In the early 2000's, Jeff's drive for consistent pure bass & drum tone in all types of spaces led to the Auralex GRAMMA, HoverDeck and Platfoam products.
